Lately the nursery rhyme “Row row row your boat, gently down the stream, merrily merrily merrily merrily, life is but a dream” has been in my mind, and how utterly wise and profound it is. Go through life as gently as possible, have as much fun as you can, and when it’s all over we’ll look back on it and it’ll seem like a dream. Much like what the poem you posted here says. Very cool.

It’s funny how that nursery rhyme made so much sense to me as a child and then as I grew older, I thought of it as “silly” and “nonsense.” The walls that are built up around us from when we were born to adulthood make us forget the true beauty of the dream that life is. 🙂
